Care Groups

Care Groups are an integral part of the life of Providence Church Why have care groups? This page gives an explanation of why we believe this structure to be a helpful and Biblical way to help one another grow in grace.

Providence Church has recently restructured the care groups within our church body. These are the care groups available at this time:

Adult care groups:

  • Behrens Care Group, led by Paul Behrens

    Paul & Janet Behrens

    Meeting on the first and third Fridays of each month at the Behrens’ home in South Park.

  • Calano Care Group, led by Tom Calano

    Tom & Jennifer Calano Assistants: Rick & Vivian Reynolds

    Meeting on the first and third Thursdays of each month at the Reynolds’ home in Bethel Park.

  • Hughes Care Group, led by Ryan Hughes

    Ryan & Christa Hughes

    Meeting on the first and third Thursdays of each month at the Hughes’ home in Pittsburgh.

  • Rutman Care Group, led by Nate Rutman

    Nate & Sarah Rutman

    Meeting on the first and third Wednesdays of each month at the Rutman’s home.

  • Taylor Care Group, led by Wes Taylor

    Wes & Marsha Taylor Assistants: Greg & Rochelle Calvetti

    Meeting on the first and third Thursdays of each month at the Calvetti’s home in Mount Lebanon.

Youth Ministry

  • FUSE Youth Group

    Providence Church’s FUSE ministry meets twice a month to help teens and parents treasure Christ together during the teenage years.
